Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager with a CPA designation and a strong background in public accounting. This individual will oversee tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for a diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with excellent technical skills, the ability to mentor team members, and a dedication to delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the preparation and review of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with client goals and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Research and resolve complex tax issues, ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client relationships, providing expert advice and fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and communicate potential impacts to clients and the team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support financial audits and business planning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax operations.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with [Insert specific software, if applicable] is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will also receive 20% of revenue you bring in on top of your base pay

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
