Park City Showroom Stone Consultant
The showroom stone consultant is responsible for guiding the customer through the design and creation of their dream project. This is a sales design and consulting position in our Park City, UT showroom.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and alternating Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Employment Type: Full-time, Salary based on experience

Responsibilities & Duties:
· Meet with customers in our showroom to curate design selections for a variety of projects including but not limited to, tile, quartz, granite, quartzite for countertops, and other stone projects (showers, fireplaces, laundry rooms, bathrooms, kitchens)
· Have a general understanding of being able to read floor plan layouts.
· Remain current and knowledgeable about industry trends and company driven training.
· Travel to customer’s homes for In-home measuring consultations
· Attending events, prospecting the territory finding new accounts, & partnerships to grow our business. Expectations of 75% of time in showroom and 25% of the time measuring consultations and growing business.
· Observant, intuitive, and perceptive while working with others, willing to share ideas and open ways of improving or receiving and providing feedback to teams and departments.
· Ability to direct design projects according to customer desires and design aesthetics
· Excel in keeping projects and tasks moving forward with high attention to detail while keeping customers engaged in the process without direct or constant supervision.
· Communicate openly, clearly and respectfully with team members and customers
· Document design/product selections in a legible and complete format by providing notes and estimates in our CRM. Follow the company sales process and expectations.
· Work in tandem with coordinators and/or specialty salespeople to clarify questions about any selections made during a design appointment
· Generate new/different design ideas to keep displays on trend and to maintain showroom aesthetic and flow, and products that should be recycled out.
· Maintain work schedule of 9:00-6:00 Monday through Friday and rotated Saturday of 10:00-4:00
· Showroom maintenance (i.e. put away samples that are used in design appointments) and keeping the showroom clean and organized by following the store tasks for opening and closing.
· Assist with keeping product pricing categorizations current (i.e. sticker program)
