About the Role

Be the go-to product expert inside one of the world's leading cutting tool manufacturers. You'll bridge shop-floor knowledge and internal strategy - identifying gaps in the U.S. market, coordinating new product launches, and partnering across sales, marketing, and engineering to bring the right tools to the right customers.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the internal resource for a core cutting tool product set - owning knowledge, documentation, and cross-team coordination
  • Identify gaps in U.S. market coverage, particularly inch-format products, and build strategies to fill them
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering to support new product introductions and see them through to execution
  • Partner with counterparts at the parent company in Germany to align U.S. strategy with global product direction
  • Assess and improve how products are organized internally, including working within ERP systems to clean up and maintain accurate product data
  • Support marketing by serving as a reliable product knowledge resource for campaigns and content

What You Bring

  • Hands-on experience with machining, CNC, or cutting tools - ideally from a general machine shop or manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational skills; comfortable managing many moving parts and keeping projects on track
  • Computer fluent - Excel proficiency required (pivot tables, filters); ERP or CRM familiarity a plus
  • A genuine desire to learn - you may not know the full product line, but you understand how cutting tools are applied in the real world
  • Strong listening and communication skills; you'll work across many departments and need to consume, organize, and deliver information clearly
  • Mid-career tenure preferred - enough experience to hit the ground running, with a long runway ahead

Nice to Have

  • German language skills - a significant plus given regular collaboration with the parent company in Germany
  • Experience as a product manager or coordinator in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • SAP experience
  • Background at a competitor tooling company (welcome - industry knowledge is valued)

Why Join Us

  • Industry-leading benefits package and strong year-end bonus
  • Exceptional employee tenure - this company invests in its people long term
  • Training in Germany with the global team - real international exposure
  • Flexible hours with a full-time on-site presence in Franklin, TN
