SDR
Location: Nashville, TN — downtown office, in-office every day (no hybrid)
About the opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing R&D tax credit consultancy helping US businesses capture federal and state research incentives with audit-ready documentation. They are building a Nashville Junior Associate cohort that starts mid-November — an entry/graduate commercial seat with a clear path from outbound associate to full-cycle closer.
The role
As SDR you will own high-volume outbound (primarily cold call) to book qualified meetings with founders, CEOs, and CFOs. You will live on a parallel dialer, run a disciplined daily activity bar, and learn a product that creates real cash impact for growing companies. Strong performers move from JA1 to JA2 and into closing on an accelerated timeline.
What you'll do
- Run high-volume outbound: primarily cold call (~90%), with email, LinkedIn, and text as supplemental channels
- Work a parallel dialer (Nooks) to hit a serious daily dial and talk-time standard
- Book and qualify meetings with Founders, CEOs, and CFOs (CPA lane owned by closers)
- Hit a ramped target of qualified meetings attended per month, with coaching and classroom reinforcement after an initial training week
- Build thick-skin resilience, competitive drive, and confidence talking to senior finance leaders
- Progress toward JA2 and full-cycle closing as you clear promotion milestones
What we're looking for
- Fresh out of college or 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Profiles that thrive under rejection: athletes, hospitality / food service / bartending / servers, door-to-door or mortgage sales, or similar grit backgrounds
- Money-driven, likable, coachable, and confident with older decision makers
- Comfortable with an every-day in-office culture in downtown Nashville (no hybrid)
- Associates degrees OK — school brand is less important than work ethic
- Not a fit: experienced AEs looking to step back into an SDR seat
