Role Overview
We are seeking a driven, hungry Sales Executive to join our fast-growing new business development team. This is a pure hunter role focused on generating new business opportunities and managing full-cycle sales into Safety, HR, and Risk leaders at mid-market companies. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, managing the sales cycle, and closing deals with strong leadership support every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through consistent outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn messaging, and other lead generation strategies
- Manage full-cycle sales process from prospecting through deal close
- Service your own book of accounts and build lasting client relationships
- Achieve monthly quota of 120,000 dollars in new revenue within the ramp period
- Maintain activity metrics of 20 daily activities minimum, with a target of one set initially per day
- Work collaboratively with sales leadership on strategy, pipeline development, and continuous improvement
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with a background in insurance, PEO, safety products, or technology sales
- Experience selling into Safety, HR, or Risk decision makers at mid-market companies (250 to 500 employees ideal)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and targets
- Hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills and not afraid to pick up the phone
- Driven, ambitious, resilient, and coachable
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Results-oriented with strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a competitive environment
- Located in or willing to relocate to the Houston, TX metro area
