Location: Hybrid/Field-First — based in Omaha–Lincoln, NE (covers Nebraska + Omaha metro/Western IA)

About the Company:

Our client is a leading commercial furniture integrator with $50M+ in annual sales and partnerships with 100+ contract furniture manufacturers, including KI—the #1 name in education furniture. For 50+ years, they’ve delivered full-service solutions in design, procurement, and installation, helping organizations across education, workplace, healthcare, and government bring their spaces to life.

They’re known for a long-tenured team, strong sales support structure (design, marketing, estimating, PM/install), and a culture that values balance and rewards performance. With growth planned in Nebraska and the potential for a local showroom in 2–3 years, it’s an exciting time to join.

The Role

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close on project-based opportunities.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with A&D firms, CRE groups, contractors, and end users.
  • Represent premium contract solutions across education, workplace, healthcare, and public sector.
  • Deliver professional presentations/proposals that differentiate on value—not just price.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, estimating, PM, and install to deliver projects seamlessly.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce/CRM.
  • Stay active in local community and industry events to expand visibility and influence.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of B2B consultative, project-driven sales (contract furniture, interiors/design, CRE, construction products, or adjacent).
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and navigating bids/RFQs/RFPs.
  • Executive-caliber presentation skills, especially with architects/designers.
  • CRM discipline, strong follow-through, and attention to detail; tech-savvy.
  • A polished, professional presence with grit and resilience.
  • Existing ties in Omaha/Lincoln preferred (not required).

Work Model:

  • Hybrid, field-first: typically 3–4 days/week on-site across Omaha–Lincoln; remainder remote for follow-ups, proposals, and CRM.
  • Travel: local/regional client and vendor visits; periodic travel to regional offices and manufacturer trainings.
  • Note: This is not a fully remote role.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive monthly draw + uncapped commission (accelerators for over-achievement).
  • Health, dental, vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid time off.
  • Long-term career growth in a company known for stability, culture, and employee loyalty.
