Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager | Pearl, Mississippi
Location: On-site, Pearl, MS (hybrid flexibility on the 6–12 month roadmap)
Schedule: Full-time, on-site minimum 4 days/week to start; hybrid expected to open up as the office and Madison location consolidate
About the Company
A top 20 U.S. insurance brokerage managing over $8 billion in premiums with projected revenues nearing $900 million in 2024. Backed by a $1.3 billion strategic investment and valued at $5.7 billion, the firm is positioned for accelerated national expansion through acquisition and integration. With 275+ offices across 40 states and more than 5,000 professionals, this platform provides the autonomy of a local agency with the scale of a national brand.
This opportunity supports a high-performing Mississippi production team that is actively growing its book. As producers ramp, the firm is building out the service and processing infrastructure behind them — making this a true growth seat, not a backfill.
About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join the Pearl, MS office and support a fast-growing commercial book. This is a high-volume processing and servicing role — not an advisory seat. You will own renewals, remarketing, and new-business processing across a book of small to lower-middle-market commercial accounts. The team is currently running behind on renewal timelines because of volume, and this hire is the key to getting ahead of it. The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial lines professional who can plug in quickly, work independently off a provided schedule, and thrive in a fast-paced, self-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and remarket commercial lines renewals, working toward the 90–120 day-ahead service standard
- Process new business and maintain service standards across a high-volume book
- Manage an assigned segment of the team's ~2,600-policy book across the supported agencies
- Partner directly with producers and CSRs to keep accounts moving and protect retention
- Work renewals proactively from a provided account/renewal schedule (what's due and when)
- Maintain accurate records in AMS360 (or a comparable agency management system)
Ideal Candidate
- Active P&C license (required)
- 3–5+ years of commercial lines experience (commercial experience is required — this is not a personal-lines-to-commercial transition role)
- Comfortable in a high-volume processing environment — smaller accounts, high turnover
- Self-driven and organized; able to operate without a highly structured producer feeding daily tasks
- AMS360 experience strongly preferred; experience in TAMS or another agency management system is transferable
- Familiarity with C-store / convenience, light commercial package, and BOP-type business is a plus
- Able to work on-site in Pearl, MS (full-remote is not available for this role)
Support & Infrastructure
- Provided account/renewal schedules (Excel) laying out what's due and when — so the role isn't dependent on producer organization
- Reports and back-end data hand-fed so you can work at the client/surface level instead of pulling reports
- National carrier relationships and brokerage-scale resources
- Regional leadership support across the Pearl/Madison, MS operation
Why Join This Platform?
- New incentive structure being finalized: 3% of renewed revenue paid to the account manager (monthly) — direct control over your earnings
- Additional retention-ratio bonus potential, plus team-level bonus opportunity
- Clear growth path: handle larger accounts as you advance (CSR2 → CSR3), earning more on roughly the same workload
- Backed by a top-20 national brokerage with aggressive growth and acquisition momentum
- A genuine growth seat created by real production momentum — not a backfill
