JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re a fast-growing temporary housing brokerage supporting families displaced by insurance claims. Our model blends high-touch service with speed and reliability, operating under a brokerage structure that rewards initiative and results.

As a Sales Business Developer (Temporary Housing), you’ll drive both new business generation and active tenant-placement claims. This role requires building strong relationships with relocation specialists, generating a steady flow of qualified leads, and managing claims you originate or receive. Expect a fast-paced, high-ownership environment with clear growth targets.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in temporary housing, relocation, or insurance claims (non-negotiable).
  • Strong phone presence with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Skilled in consultative, solution-oriented selling.
  • Confident in negotiation and objection handling with adjusters/vendor reps.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot, Notion, Airtable).
  • Comfortable using tools like Apollo, Clay, Hunter.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
  • Self-directed, results-oriented, and empathetic toward clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain relationships with relocation specialists.
  • Manage and close tenant-placement claims you originate or are assigned.
  • Generate high-volume lead flow for the broader agent team.
  • Track pipeline, KPIs, and results in CRM; collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Represent the brand with urgency, empathy, and professionalism.

SUCCESS

Performance will be measured by active contracts under management:

  • 3 months: 50 cumulative active contracts/month.
  • 6 months: 100 cumulative active contracts/month.
  • 12 months: 200 cumulative active contracts/month.
  • Team-wide goal: 100+ active claims/contracts in service each month.
