About the Role
Own a Commercial Insurance Producer seat focused on building new business across Eastern Massachusetts and the broader New England market. This is a hunter role for outbound-driven producers who want to build a commercial book through disciplined prospecting and CRM-driven sales activity within a platform investing heavily in organic growth.
What You’ll Do
- Build and grow a commercial lines book through organic new business production
- Prospect and close new business across industries such as construction, real estate / habitational, manufacturing, nonprofits, schools, retail, and non-emergency medical transport
- Execute consistent cold outbound activity through calls, email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and structured outreach campaigns
- Use Salesforce daily to track activity, manage pipeline, and maintain sales discipline
- Develop a clear business plan outlining your strategy to penetrate the market and win accounts
- Represent the firm through networking, community engagement, and direct prospecting
- Focus exclusively on sales while internal teams assist with market access and support
What You’ll Bring
- Active P&C license
- 5+ years of commercial insurance or complex B2B sales experience preferred
- Proven ability to prospect, hunt, and close new business
- Comfortable using Salesforce or another CRM daily
- Strong outbound sales discipline (calls, email, prospecting campaigns)
- Commercial lines experience in areas such as construction, real estate, manufacturing, nonprofits, schools, retail, or general commercial
- Professional designations preferred (CRIS, CIC, CPCU, etc.)
- Community involvement and local networking presence is a plus
- Competitive, entrepreneurial sales mindset
