  • Help establish and expand strategic channel partnerships, including formulators, labs, co-manufacturers, distributors, and other industry collaborators, to support market penetration and long-term growth.
  • Support the establishment and monitoring of commercial metrics, including revenue performance, pipeline activity, and marketing KPIs, aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Provide input into pricing strategies, packaging, and commercial models to support positioning and growth.
  • Leverage market intelligence and customer insights to inform product positioning and value propositions.

  • Support the use of commercial systems and tools, including CRM platforms, reporting dashboards, and modern technologies, to track performance and inform decision-making.
  • Regularly report on commercial progress, insights, and forecasts to the executive team.
  • Over time, contribute to the evolution of the commercial function, including recommendations around structure, resourcing, and future hires as the business scales.
  • Build, lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams across sales, marketing, business development, and customer success or commercial functions.
  • As an executive you will meet the minimum standards of being a leader in terms of fiduciary responsibility, confidentiality, and strategic planning across the whole organization and its subsidiaries.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership roles, preferably within hemp, cannabis, supplements, food & beverage, wellness, or other regulated consumer product industries.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, pipeline management, and commercial reporting tools.
  • Understanding of regulated markets and the importance of compliance, quality, and brand integrity.
  • A genuine interest in plant-based wellness and mission-driven products.
