ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a licensed medicinal cannabis company based in Southeast Queensland. A forty-five minute drive from Brisbane CBD, the hybrid-indoor glasshouse on the northern edge of the Scenic Rim produces consistent, high-quality medicinal cannabis products for Australian patients and global partners. This facility combines:

- A strong focus on quality, compliance and data-driven cultivation.
SUMMARY:
As our client expands its national footprint, they are seeking a driven Domestic Sales Manager to strengthen their commercial presence across Australia. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at relationship-building, program execution, and account management.
The Domestic Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing the national patient community program, which plays a critical role in product validation and patient engagement. The program requires the successful recruitment and onboarding of 100 patients per newly launched strain to gather feedback and strengthen their patient-first strategy. The manager will also own key commercial relationships across Australia, support local partners, and ensure strong adoption of our products. Some domestic travel will be required to meet partners, accounts, and healthcare stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the patient community program across Australia.
- Recruit 100 patients per new product strain to participate in structured feedback and data collection.
- Work closely with local partners, clinics, pharmacies, and prescribers to ensure program adoption and success.
- Manage key accounts, building long-term relationships with distributors, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals.
- Track patient-reported outcomes and collaborate with marketing, product, and medical teams to refine product strategy.
- Represent us at domestic conferences, trade events, and partner meetings.
- Provide high-quality reporting on program success, sales performance, and market insights.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to support product launches and commercial initiatives.
- Drive national sales performance by identifying new opportunities, expanding partner engagement, and strengthening product presence.
- Travel as needed (estimated 20–30%) to meet accounts, partners, and prescriber networks.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience, ideally within medicinal cannabis, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or healthcare.
- Proven success managing commercial accounts and executing sales programs.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clinics, healthcare providers, pharmacies, or patient communities.
- High level of professionalism, strong communication abilities, and comfort presenting to partners and prescribers.
- Ability to independently manage travel, schedules, and partner expectations.
- Motivated, driven, and capable of owning a key national program from the ground up.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving industry with regulatory considerations.
