  • Experienced Facility Manager to oversee infrastructure, engineering systems, and maintenance operations within a large-scale medicinal cannabis facility producing in excess of 40 tonnes of premium flower per year.
  • This is a critical operational role, responsible for ensuring facility uptime, system reliability, and rapid problem resolution in a highly regulated, high-throughput production environment.
  • The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial facility background (cannabis or otherwise) and bring hands-on experience managing complex building systems, developing preventative maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting when critical systems fail.
  • Candidates with backgrounds as electricians, engineers, or technical maintenance leaders will be particularly well suited.
  • This role works closely with Cultivation, Post Harvest, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure the facility consistently operates at peak performance without compromising safety, compliance, or production continuity.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee day-to-day facility operations, infrastructure, and utilities across the site
  • Develop, implement, and manage preventative and corrective maintenance schedules for all critical systems
  • Act as the primary point of escalation when facility systems fail, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Manage and maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, irrigation, lighting, and environmental control systems
  • Manage and grow small team of warehouse and dispatch personnel as well as cleaning staff
  • Ensure optimal facility uptime to support continuous cultivation and post-harvest operations
  • Coordinate external contractors, service providers, and equipment vendors
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation in line with GMP/GACP requirements
  • Support facility readiness for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews
  • Collaborate closely with Cultivation and Post Harvest teams to align facility performance with production needs
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability, efficiency, and energy performance
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards and site safety protocols
  • Support capital projects, equipment installation, commissioning, and facility expansion activities
