Summary:

 

White Ash Group has been engaged by a fully licensed Cannabis company to recruit for their next Sales Operations Manager.


Job Description:


The Manager, Sales Operations will be responsible for leading customer inventory and external order management as well as sales shipments reporting for the company’s national business, reporting directly to the Director, Sales Operations. This person will have a demonstrated ability to leverage data for optimizing customer inventories, through cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing and supply chain teams. Success in this role will be driven by your ability to analyze, interpret, and provide recommendations on customer initiatives to support annual sales plan.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·     Optimize customer inventory levels and provide recommended order quantities based on historical volume, distribution, and programming.

·     Work with the sales team on optimizing product launch quantities based on market data and expectations.

·     Support forecasting initiatives by working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to help set and deliver the annual plan.

·     Identify aged and excess inventory risks and work with sales to develop an action plan.

·     Develop and support routine reporting via weekly updates of shipments against forecast.

·     Manage external relationships with key customer supply chain contacts to ensure proper information exchange, planning and execution relative to replenishment and customer inventory.

·     Work directly with the Director, Sales Operations to monitor, review and consolidate inventory levels and PO delivery accuracy.

·     Provide weekly updates to the sales team on expected in stock dates and upcoming product launch dates.

 

Qualifications:

 

·     2-4 years of experience in analytics, sales operations, customer supply chain or commercial planning, ideally from within the CPG industry.

·     Advanced MS Excel skills. Power BI knowledge is a bonus.

·     Exceptional communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation.

·     Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insights into strategy.

·     Strong understanding of cannabis and the industry regulations.

·     Experience in managing multiple demands with tight deadlines.
