Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 + 0.1–0.5% equity

This is an opportunity to join as our first Enterprise Deployment Lead and own the customer relationship end-to-end for Fortune 100 enterprises across the global commodity supply chain. You will be the face of Edge to sophisticated procurement leaders, risk managers, and trading desks managing hundreds of millions in exposure, working alongside C-suite stakeholders to turn pilots into long-term strategic deployments. You will also be the tip of the spear internally, channeling what you hear from customers directly into product and engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full customer journey from pilot kickoff through conversion, ongoing engagement, and expansion across enterprise accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact and thought partner to senior stakeholders including procurement heads, CFOs, Chief Risk Officers, and traders managing large commodity exposures
- Drive pilot success by setting clear milestones, running structured check-ins, tracking usage, and proactively resolving friction
- Lead the operational work of getting Edge embedded inside customer environments, including data access, integrations, and internal workflows
- Build deep commodity and financial markets fluency to engage credibly with sophisticated users and translate customer context into actionable insight
- Monitor account health continuously, identify churn risk early, and drive proactive interventions to secure renewals and expansion
- Surface upsell opportunities across business lines, products, and additional teams within existing accounts
- Act as the primary internal voice of the customer, feeding product feedback and market signals directly to product and engineering
- Build the foundational playbooks and client-facing assets (onboarding frameworks, usage reports, QBR templates) that scale the function as we grow
- Represent Edge at customer sites, industry conferences, and executive briefings across the US
What We’re Looking For
- 4-8 years of experience in customer-facing enterprise SaaS or fintech, a commodity trading, risk, or procurement role on the operator side, or a client-facing role in consulting, banking, or private equity
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships with senior executives at large enterprises
- Exceptional people skills with a natural ability to build trust and operate as a thought partner rather than a vendor
- Strong process orientation with the discipline to track usage, flag risks early, and drive consistent follow-through across many accounts
- Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting quantitative data and translating customer needs into clear internal asks
- Intellectual curiosity to build deep fluency in commodity markets and financial risk management; prior exposure to finance or commodities is helpful but not required
- Comfortable in a fast-paced 0→1 environment with high ambiguity and high ownership
- Willing to travel for in-person customer engagement, with all travel costs covered
- Willing to be NYC-based and fully in-person when not traveling (5 days/week)
