Role Overview
As a Sales Director at Seel, you’ll lead and scale our mid market account executive team, bringing a startup mentality that is hands on, scrappy, and full of positive energy. The ideal candidate has built and led mid market AE teams of similar or larger scale, with strong analytical skills and a structured approach to workflows and processes. We’re looking for proactive, detail-focused team players who love tackling new challenges, adapt quickly in dynamic settings, and naturally build trust and strong partnerships across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a mid market Account Executive team, driving consistent performance across multiple funnels and segments.
- Foster a startup mentality, being hands on, scrappy, and solutions oriented with high energy and ownership.
- Build structured workflows, processes, and playbooks to improve efficiency, conversion, and forecasting accuracy.
- Serve as a trusted cross functional partner, collaborating seamlessly with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align on strategy and execution.
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene, design dashboards, set targets, and drive team behavior through data.
- Conduct structured one on ones, pipeline reviews, and coaching sessions, helping new hires ramp quickly while upleveling tenured reps.
- Apply and refine sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and Challenger to ensure predictable, scalable growth.
- Analyze and manage complex mid market deals (100K–3M ARR), ensuring operational excellence across multiple pipelines.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing mid market account executive teams, with a proven record of exceeding revenue targets and driving consistent quota attainment
- A curious, entrepreneurial individual with plenty of grit & analytical prowess with a strong bias towards action
- Proven ability to build and manage multiple stakeholder relationships
- Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player excited to work cross-functionally and build internal relationships
- Outbound lead sourcing experience
Compensation & Structure
- $165-$185K base, double OTE
