Responsibilities
As the Operations Supervisor, you will lead Throne’s field cleaning operations in Los Angeles, partnering closely with the Operations Manager to ensure performance, quality, and team effectiveness.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of Senior Operations Specialists, with indirect oversight of hourly field employees. Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable to performance metrics including cleanliness scores, productivity, and reliability. Coach team leads to own field performance, escalation handling, and team support, while addressing performance gaps quickly and effectively.
- Field Operations Oversight: Ensure consistent execution across all service zones by monitoring routing, staffing, and coverage. Conduct regular field audits to maintain quality standards and ensure high-demand locations are properly supported.
- Warehouse & Inventory Management: Partner with Technical Operations to maintain strong inventory systems and ensure teams are equipped to execute. Track usage trends, manage stock levels, and establish clear processes for warehouse organization and field restocking.
- People & Administrative Management: Oversee scheduling, timecards, and payroll accuracy to ensure smooth operations. Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for both team leads and hourly employees, maintaining a high bar for accountability and team culture.
Is This You?
- 3–5+ years of experience managing hourly or field-based teams, ideally in service operations, logistics, facilities, or hospitality
- Proven ability to manage large, distributed teams (20+ indirect reports) and drive performance
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold teams accountable while building a positive, high-performing culture
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly in dynamic environments
- Comfortable delivering direct feedback and managing performance issues
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience with workforce management tools, scheduling systems, and platforms like Google Workspace and Slack
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working in sanitation-related environments and supporting field teams hands-on
Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Full-time role with flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, evenings, and occasional holidays as needed
- Combination of field, warehouse, and administrative work, with daily reporting to the main warehouse
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in outdoor urban environments
