About the Company
Sparrow partners with credit unions to automate and modernize how they acquire and deepen member relationships. We’ve built the first marketing and engagement platform purpose-built for credit unions — replacing generic systems like HubSpot and Salesforce with infrastructure designed specifically for the financial services ecosystem.
With 160+ financial institution customers and rapidly expanding across lending and digital banking integrations, Sparrow is transforming how community financial institutions grow — empowering them to build stronger, more personal member relationships through intelligent, data-driven marketing.
Since 2020, Sparrow has achieved triple-digit annual revenue growth and maintained profitability for over 16 consecutive months, establishing itself as one of the fastest-growing, relationship-driven fintechs in the country.
About the Team
We’re a fast-moving, collaborative team that values clarity, creativity, and ownership. Decisions are made quickly, ideas rise on merit, and everyone has a seat at the table - from shaping our product roadmap to refining our go-to-market strategy.
You’ll work directly alongside Sparrow’s founders and a talented group of customer success and product professionals who share a simple belief: that the future of community finance isn’t about replacing people - it’s about giving them better tools to connect.
About the Role
We’re looking for an Account Executive to drive new partner acquisition and revenue growth. You’ll own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and qualification through close - building relationships with credit union executives and helping them reimagine how they engage their members through Sparrow’s marketing platform.
You’ll work directly with the Director of Partnerships and founders to refine our go-to-market strategy, collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs, and help shape the narrative that defines Sparrow’s next stage of growth.
This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role with meaningful ownership and uncapped upside.
What you’ll do:

● Prospect creatively: Identify and engage target accounts using a mix of conferences, email, phone, and LinkedIn to build a pipeline.
● Run consultative discovery: Understand each credit union’s strategic priorities and member engagement challenges to position Sparrow as the solution.
● Lead demos and presentations: Tell the Sparrow story with clarity and confidence, customizing each conversation to highlight ROI and impact.
● Negotiate and close: Manage contracts and deal structure in partnership with leadership, maintaining velocity while ensuring win-win outcomes.
● Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with Marketing and Customer Success to optimize the buyer journey and accelerate onboarding success.
● Contribute to GTM strategy: Share learnings from the field to inform product direction, positioning, and messaging.
You’ll Thrive Here If You’re a...
● Closer: You’re competitive, confident, and comfortable owning the full process - from in-person sourcing to closed contracts.
● Strategic Seller: You connect the dots between business challenges and product value, leading with insight rather than a script.
● Builder: You’re energized by the pace of a startup, helping shape process, pipeline strategy, and the playbook as we scale.
● Collaborator: You bring energy to a team environment and thrive in close alignment with marketing, operations, and success.
● Storyteller: You can turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with executive buyers.
● Doer: You don’t wait for direction - you act, iterate, and drive outcomes.
You Bring
● 2+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience
● A track record as a top-performer who regularly exceeds quota
● Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clients, ideally relationship-driven industries.
● Comfort engaging senior executives (CEOs, CMOs, COOs) in strategic conversations.
● Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
● High degree of autonomy and ownership - with the judgment to know when to loop others in.
Benefits
● Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance: Sparrow covers 90% of premiums for employees and 50% for dependents.
● 401(k): Sparrow offers a 3% safe harbor.
● Paid Time Off: 14 days of PTO to rest and recharge.
● In-Office Culture: We believe proximity fuels pace - this role is based in our New York City office.
