Coaches at every level and in every sport use our software to discover, evaluate, and recruit the right players for their programs. Student athletes benefit from a more direct and transparent process led by coaches who can actually recruit them, helping avoid wasted time, effort, and money on unnecessary services.


Responsibilities


As VP of Marketing, you will lead the entire marketing function at Scorability, driving growth across athletes, coaches, and colleges. You will grow adoption of our SaaS products through product led growth, brand development, and demand generation. This hands-on leadership role works closely with the executive team to shape strategy, investments, and actions that help Scorability exceed revenue goals.

  • Build and be responsible for all aspects of the marketing function (B2B and D2C) while developing a comprehensive marketing strategy across growth, demand generation, brand, social, etc.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing strategies that scale revenue and accelerate sales outcomes
  • Build, test, and refine acquisition funnels to maximize signups and conversions across digital and outbound channels
  • Shape brand positioning, messaging, and voice to connect with diverse customer segments and unify all marketing efforts
  • Launch and manage lifecycle campaigns that deepen engagement, reduce churn, and grow customer lifetime value
  • Produce thought leadership content, events, and webinars to influence enterprise decision-makers and strengthen ABM programs
  • Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing marketing team, building specialized functions (growth, performance, content, lifecycle, social/influencer, etc.) aligned to business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align go-to-market strategies with evolving customer expectations
  • Define goals, KPIs, and metrics for marketing initiatives, delivering insights and performance updates to senior leadership
  • Drive data-driven optimization and embed AI technologies into daily marketing workflows
  • Continuously analyze campaign performance, customer journeys, and funnel efficiency to optimize impact
  • Explore and experiment with new channels, tactics, and technologies to accelerate customer acquisition and improve conversion rates
  • Foster a culture of experimentation by leading A/B testing and iterative improvements that sharpen marketing strategies through data-driven insights


Is this you?


  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles in SaaS marketing and a strong digital-first approach
  • Proven experience leading the marketing function in high-growth environments (at least one early-stage startup strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (or comparable experience)
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing channels including GEO, SEO, SEM with experience leading content, social and lifecycle marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives through creative, measurable, and scalable marketing initiatives
  • Strong track record of effectively managing and motivating a team of high-performing marketers and creatives
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability and experience in presenting to executives, boards, and investors
  • Strategic mindset with a history of fast action, accountability, and attention to detail
