Job Title: General Manager – Hotel

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead the operations of our 78 room hotel. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the property’s day-to-day operations, including guest satisfaction, staff management, financial performance, and strategic planning. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in hospitality management who can drive results, improve standards, and create a welcoming, service-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hotel departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, etc.)
- Ensure high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
- Implement and monitor SOPs to ensure consistency and quality
Financial & Revenue Management
- Develop and manage the hotel budget to maximize profitability
- Analyze financial data to monitor and control costs
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to drive occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR
- Review and approve financial reports and performance metrics
Team Leadership & HR
- Recruit, train, and develop department heads and key staff
- Promote a positive and productive work environment
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and ensure proper staffing levels
- Enforce compliance with labor laws and company policies\
Guest Relations & Quality Control
- Maintain a strong presence with guests, addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor online reviews and guest feedback to improve service quality
- Implement guest satisfaction initiatives
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute short- and long-term business plans
- Identify new opportunities to improve the guest experience and hotel performance
- Ensure the hotel meets all health, safety, and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5–7 years of hotel management experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of hotel revenue management
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with property management systems
- Knowledge of local regulations and industry trends
Preferred Skills:
- Multi-property management experience (for larger portfolios)
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset
- Strong local market knowledge
- Crisis management and problem-solving capabilities
