Dental Hygienist

Location: New York or New Jersey

Pay Rate: $18–$37 per hour

Work Schedule: 3–4 days per week

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to provide preventive dental care and support patients’ oral health.

The ideal candidate will perform dental cleanings, educate patients on proper oral hygiene, and work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and plaque and tartar removal.
• Assess patients’ oral health and identify potential dental concerns.
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and preventive dental care.
• Assist dentists with examinations and other clinical procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
• Provide a comfortable and professional experience for patients.

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in New York or New Jersey, as applicable to the work location.
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other dental staff.
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred.

Work Schedule

• 3–4 days per week
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Work location in New York or New Jersey, depending on placement.
