Title of Position: Financial Controller

Compensation: $115k to $130k plus 10% bonus.

Job Description: As the Controller, you will oversee all facets of financial management, financial reporting, expense plans, and commercial accounting, in addition to internal management policies and strategies. Holding the senior financial position will require optimization of return on financial assets by establishing procedures, controls, policies, and reporting systems. As the Controller, daily responsibilities will consist of accounts payable, accounts receivable, maintain precise record keeping, banking: including opening new accounts, daily reconciliation of deposits, money transfers, and paying loans. Other responsibilities of the Controller will include Annual insurance renewals, calculating monthly bonuses, new construction accounting, preparing profit and loss statements, preparing and remitting annual sales tax, and any other tax necessities. The Controller will also assist with the yearly budget planning and will act as the point of contact for annual insurance audits. Excellent time management skills are essential to ensure that all reports are well prepared and on time. As the Controller, you will work directly with our company's CFO and must maintain a strong understanding of up-to-date cost percentages and budgeting information.

Qualifications:

·        The Controller must have Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration

·        5 years of proven working experience as a Controller is a must for this position

·        The Controller must have a background in hotels

·  CPA or CMA is preferred as our Controller
