NECTO Selection are searching for a talented Site Engineer for a unique water infrastructure project in Cork. Our client is an award-winning, Construction, Civil Engineering, and Development company. Our client prides themselves on impeccable standards and thus in return it yields high return of repeat business from many of its clients.


The role

  • Reading, interpreting and providing clear communication of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements etc. 
  • Setting out, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site
  • Ensuring programme deadlines are met
  • Working closely with your team to ensure that the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to
  • Consistently developing your knowledge of the industry, whilst communicating and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant staff
  • Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies and procedures
  • Undertake any other necessary duties


About You

  • You must be able to use your own initiative, be accountable, and take responsibility for a project from start to finish
  • You must be goal-orientated, meet numerous deadlines, instilling motivation in the team to hit key targets


Experience required

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a similar qualification with 5+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in engineering within water or the utilities sector is essential
  • Proficient numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
  • A full driving licence with access to transport
