IPS is hiring a Head of Product to elevate our client's product organization into a strategic, visionary, and execution‑oriented leadership function. This role combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and deep industry insight with hands‑on execution. You will inspire customers and internal teams with a clear articulation of where the product is headed, how it drives customer outcomes, and how we will build with our customers. You will define and implement robust product processes, own and evolve the roadmap, and elevate product excellence across the company.


Position Overview:


As the Head of Product, you will elevate our product organization into a strategic, visionary, and execution‑oriented leadership function. This role combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and deep industry insight with hands‑on execution. You will inspire customers and internal teams with a clear articulation of where the product is headed, how it drives customer outcomes, and how we will build with our customers. You will define and implement robust product processes, own and evolve the roadmap, and elevate product excellence across the company.


Role Responsibilities:


Product Vision & Customer Inspiration

  • Collaborate with the founders and the leadership team on defining and communicating a bold product vision that aligns with long‑term business goals and resonates with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Inspire confidence in the product strategy and evolution, demonstrating how the roadmap will drive measurable outcomes for customers and accelerate growth.
  • Cultivate deep customer relationships, drive customer research, and embed customer insights into strategic decisions.


AI Leadership & Industry Insight

  • Champion AI as a core capability of the product; stay current on AI trends, applications, and competitive signals to guide innovation.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into our product strategy where they meaningfully advance customer value.


Hands‑On Execution & Cross‑Functional Alignment

  • Balance strategic leadership with tactical execution; step into detailed product work when necessary to refine feature definitions, user flows, or cross‑functional deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration with marketing, sales, success, design, and engineering to deliver high‑impact launches and enable effective go‑to‑market execution.
  • Act as a custodian of product quality—from demos to documentation to feature details.


Process Ownership & Implementation

  • Design, build, and operationalize scalable product processes that improve clarity, execution speed, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Establish clear frameworks for discovery, prioritization, OKRs, and decision‑making and ensure they produce consistent, high‑quality outcomes.


Internal Communication & Business Alignment

  • Deliver compelling internal updates that highlight progress against strategic goals, connect roadmap choices to business growth, and motivate cross‑functional teams.
  • Evangelize product thinking across the company, helping non‑product partners understand how new capabilities drive customer impact.


Leadership & Accountability

  • Lead and mentor senior product managers and related roles; cultivate an environment of trust + verify.
  • Delegate effectively while holding teams accountable for outcomes and maintaining high standards.
  • Partner with peers across functions to drive results, removing obstacles and fostering ownership beyond direct reports.


Competitive Awareness & Ecosystem Understanding

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, industry shifts, and adjacent ecosystems to inform strategy and positioning.


Qualifications: 

  • Track record in product leadership roles with increasing scope, preferably in AI‑driven SaaS
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and articulate a compelling product vision and align cross‑functional teams to execute against it.
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies and their strategic application in product contexts.
  • Strong hands‑on product instincts with experience writing detailed product specs, defining user journeys, and influencing design and engineering decisions.
  • Experience designing and implementing product processes that enable successful execution.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to inspire both internal teams and external customers.
  • History of building trust with customers and translating insights into product strategy.
  • Experience leading teams through growth, change, and ambiguity.
  • B2B SaaS experience and familiarity with go‑to‑market engagement models a plus.
