IPS is hiring for a high-growth startup that is redefining trauma recovery through a peer-to-peer support platform built for survivors, by survivors. We work with leading trauma centers and insurance partners to embed human connection into care pathways, giving trauma survivors meaningful support at every stage of their journey.
Following tremendous traction with top-tier institutions and thousands of engaged users, we’re seeking a Remote Head of Product to shape, lead, and execute our next wave of growth.
Why This Role Matters
- This is a rare opportunity to join a mission-driven team at a moment of inflection. With strong market pull and a foundation of thoughtful engineering, we’re ready for someone to architect and scale our product efforts. You’ll step into a leadership seat with room to own strategy and execution, backed by a visionary CEO and a team of builders who believe in servant leadership and radical trust.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Leadership (25%–50%)
- Define and evolve the long-term product vision (3-, 5-, and 10-year horizons)
- Drive a roadmap that supports trauma survivors, scales our partner ecosystem, and unlocks community value
- Lead annual planning (e.g., 0-Day strategy gatherings), and translate it into actionable product initiatives
- Execution (50%–75%)
- Own the full product lifecycle: user research, roadmap development, feature prioritization, and release execution
- Partner with engineering (currently 2 dedicated engineers) and design to ship thoughtful, scalable solutions
- Implement product delivery systems to align engineering output with user and business value
- Build feedback loops across trauma survivors, providers, and payers to ensure we’re solving for real needs
- Team Growth
- Help identify, hire, and mentor future product, design, and engineering teammates
- Contribute hands-on in early stages—ideally with some design or light coding capability
You’ll Thrive Here If You
- Have 6–10 years of experience in product management, ideally a mix of IC execution and team leadership
- Have spent time at a larger org and are now hungry to own and scale a product at a fast-moving startup
- Can bridge strategy with hands-on work—rolling up your sleeves while mapping out the long view
- Are excited to build disruptive, values-driven technology that questions assumptions in healthcare
- Embrace servant leadership and operate with empathy, autonomy, and ownership
- Have light design skills or technical fluency (TypeScript / Node.js familiarity a plus)
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
- You’ve helped shape and align a new product vision with a clear, actionable roadmap
- You’ve led execution that results in a 20%+ month-over-month retention improvement
- You’ve created visibility and clarity across product and engineering—laying a strong foundation for growth
- You’ve earned the trust of our trauma survivor community, internal team, and external partners
Benefits/Offerings:
- Health, dental, vision
- Pay 100% of the employee premium
- Voluntary long-term disability
- Company life insurance and voluntary life insurance
