IPS is recruiting for two new Product Manager roles for a fast-growing, venture-backed healthcare company that is both the health plan and the care provider for older adults who want to keep living independently at home. It delivers fully coordinated medical and social care (primary and specialty care, prescriptions, therapy, meals, transportation, and in-home support) through its care centers and directly in patients' homes.
Backed by top-tier healthcare investors and a leading national health system, the company is on track to roughly triple revenue next year and is expanding into new markets. The care operation is already scaled, but product, engineering, data, and AI are being built from scratch, and major tool and architecture decisions are still open. Early product hires will help shape them and grow with the team.
We're hiring two founding Product Managers who will work closely together.
---------------------------------------------------------------
ROLE 1: DATA PRODUCT MANAGER
The company's first Data PM: a hands-on, technical individual contributor who owns the roadmap for data products and infrastructure and bridges the business and the data team.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap for data products and infrastructure during an early-stage data warehouse build (Databricks)
- Define the business problem before the build and decide what gets prioritized
- Gather requirements from executives, operations, compliance and clinical leaders; find where the data lives, or where to source it
- Write clear specs (metric definitions, cohort logic, source-to-target mapping) and scope level of effort
- Run the Jira backlog and sprints, and keep the data team unblocked
- Design, QA and ship dashboards; lead user testing, sign-off and rollout
- Query and validate data yourself with SQL
- Follow features end to end, from what care teams see on screen to the data underneath
What you bring
- 3–5+ years of product management, shipping data products, dashboards or reporting tools
- Fluency in healthcare data: claims, medications, labs, clinical notes, care-team data
- Strong SQL: can independently query, validate and troubleshoot data
- Extensive experience partnering with data engineers and analysts across the full data product lifecycle
- Agile/Scrum experience; clear technical spec writing
- Startup or smaller-company experience; comfortable with ambiguity and ad hoc requests
- Executive presence with senior and clinical stakeholders
- Willing to travel periodically to care sites (~15% annually)
Nice to have
- Value-based care medical group or health plan experience
- Epic data (Clarity/Caboodle), FHIR/HL7, medical/pharmacy claims; CPT, ICD-10, NDC
- Modern data stack: Databricks, dbt, Airflow, Power BI
---------------------------------------------------------------
ROLE 2: PRODUCT MANAGER, STRATEGIC TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS
One of the founding product hires, owning strategy, roadmap and delivery for the application portfolio that powers clinical, operational, growth and administrative workflows.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap for call/communications (TalkDesk), CRM (Salesforce), EHR (Epic), core operations, growth and risk adjustment systems
- Configure, integrate and optimize best-in-class platforms rather than build from scratch
- Own vendor relationships: performance, escalations, contract support and negotiation
- Lead build-vs-buy assessments and vendor selection
- Bring order to a steady stream of requests from leaders, and push back when priorities compete
- Lead application implementations for new care center launches (configuration, testing, go-live)
- Run backlog, sprint and release planning in Jira; build repeatable launch playbooks
- Own rollout, training and change management; track adoption and feed it back into the roadmap
- Help set the process and cadence for a new product function
What you bring
- 5+ years of product management on enterprise or B2B SaaS applications
- Care delivery or other complex, multi-system coordination experience: several interconnected systems, customized and integrated, with direct work alongside front-line users
- A scrappy, end-to-end operator: writes own specs, drives training and rollout, and manages vendors and developers directly
- Sound build-vs-buy judgment and structured project and vendor management with a client-facing touch
- Independence in 0-to-1 settings
- Strong stakeholder management and sense of urgency
- Enthusiasm for regular travel to care sites for go-lives and rollouts
Nice to have
- Healthcare or health IT experience (strongly preferred), including multi-site operations
- Hands-on experience with TalkDesk, Salesforce, Epic, Abridge or similar contact center, CRM, ambient AI or EHR systems
- Health plan systems (claims, eligibility, encounters) or risk adjustment platforms
- PACE, Medicare/Medicaid or other regulated healthcare environments
---------------------------------------------------------------
BENEFITS (BOTH ROLES)
- Medical, dental and vision (PPO and HMO options); HSA with employer contribution up to $2,500
- 401(k) with 100% match up to 3%
- 12 weeks fully paid parental leave
- 15 days vacation (growing to 20), 10 sick days, 10 company holidays
- Short- and long-term disability, life insurance, Employee Assistance Program
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
