Its approximately 260 employees provide 24/7 fire, water, storm, and mold restoration services to residential and commercial property owners. POSITION SUMMARY

Southeast Restoration is seeking a Director of Market Development and Sales Effectiveness to improve the performance of its Market Development and Sales teams through field coaching, capability development, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the VP of Revenue, this leader will spend significant time in the field alongside Market Development Representatives and Estimators/Sales Representatives. They will combine firsthand observations with CRM, Power BI, pipeline, dashboard, and scorecard data to identify performance gaps and create targeted improvement plans.

This is not simply a training role. Success will be measured by meaningful behavior change and improved sales performance—not by the number of ride-alongs, training sessions, or presentations completed.

The position will initially operate as an individual contributor, influencing team members through credibility and partnership rather than direct authority. Over time, this leader is expected to build and lead a broader Revenue Effectiveness function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the coaching and performance-development strategy for Market Development and Sales representatives.
• Conduct ride-alongs, customer observations, opportunity reviews, role-play sessions, and one-on-one coaching.
• Use CRM activity, Power BI reporting, scorecards, pipeline data, and field observations to diagnose performance gaps.
• Develop individualized improvement plans with clear expectations, follow-up, and accountability.
• Coach representatives on prospecting, referral-partner engagement, pipeline progression, customer communication, value-based selling, objection handling, and closing.
• Accelerate new-hire development through structured 30/60/90-day plans.
• Identify the behaviors of top performers and help replicate them across the organization.
• Design and lead quarterly capability-development events with ongoing reinforcement and learning plans.
• Partner with the VP of Revenue, Revenue Operations, General Managers, and other leaders to improve performance and consistency across all markets.
• Provide regular assessments of organizational capability and recommend improvements to coaching, processes, and sales methodologies.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Successful experience leading, developing, or coaching sales teams, with measurable improvements in individual or team performance.
• Meaningful experience in a field-based sales environment and a genuine desire to work alongside representatives.
• Strong understanding of prospecting, opportunity generation, pipeline management, conversion, customer communication, objection handling, and closing.
• Experience using CRM data, dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics to guide coaching priorities.
• Ability to facilitate engaging group training and effective one-on-one coaching.
• Strong analytical, observational, and communication skills.
• Ability to build credibility and influence experienced professionals without relying on positional authority.
• Comfortable addressing underperformance directly while maintaining trust and partnership.
• Adaptable, action-oriented, relational, and committed to measurable results.
• Willingness to travel regularly and view time in the field as an essential part of the role.

No specific degree is required. Education in business, organizational leadership, marketing, or sales—and relevant certifications in coaching, leadership, sales, or training—may be beneficial.
