CLIENT SUMMARY
HPM is a national capital program management firm that partners with owners to lead complex capital improvement programs from early planning through execution. Founded in 1997 as a division of Hoar Construction, HPM serves as the owner’s advocate—providing leadership, oversight, and advisory services that reduce risk, control cost, and create predictable outcomes.
While the firm has expanded geographically and across industries, HPM has remained deeply relationship-driven and family-oriented, with a strong emphasis on integrity, stewardship, and long-term partnerships. As the company continues to grow, HPM is investing in new internal capabilities that allow it to support clients earlier and more strategically in the capital program lifecycle.

The Director of Engineering will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, a bridge between executive leadership and operational teams, and a key partner to business development and program leadership.
This role is not intended to be a hands-on production engineering position. While technical credibility is critical, the primary focus is leadership, strategic planning, client engagement, and long-term capability building.
