The Opportunity

ECMS is seeking a Project Manager (Refrigeration) to oversee commercial refrigeration construction projects for national retail clients across the United States.

This individual will manage projects from initial scope and bid through execution and closeout, serving as the primary client contact while coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and field operations.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent projects and tight timelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage refrigeration construction projects cradle-to-grave
  • Oversee 5–7 projects simultaneously across the U.S.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for national accounts
  • Coordinate subcontractors and collaborate with on-site superintendents
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and safely
  • Travel to job sites approximately 2 days per week for field oversight
  • Strengthen relationships with key clients and support company growth


Ideal Background

  • Experience managing commercial refrigeration or cold-storage construction projects
  • Familiarity with supermarket or wholesale club environments
  • Proven ability to manage $5M+ annual project portfolios
  • Strong coordination skills across subcontractors and field teams
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Humble, team-oriented leader with a strong work ethic
