Key Objectives

• Lead and develop the estimating team, setting standards and mentoring other estimators.
• Personally manage key bids and ensure accurate takeoffs, pricing, and proposals.
• Improve bid-to-hit ratios and protect margins by tightening feedback loops and market intel.
• Modernize workflows using B2W and Agtek to transition away from spreadsheet-based estimating.
• Collaborate with operations and project managers to confirm constructability, assess risk, and ensure profitable execution.
• Expand the backlog into commercial, industrial, and selective public-sector projects.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil or site development with proven bid success.
• Proficient with Agtek and either B2W or HCSS (B2W preferred).
• Experienced in takeoffs, labor/equipment/material pricing, and bid assembly.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Relationship-oriented—actively builds subcontractor and client networks.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
