SEO Manager
This company is a transparent, performance-led B2B marketing agency. No hidden margins, no inflated overheads, just straight-talking strategy and delivery across paid search, paid social, content, sales automation and account-based marketing for B2B brands.
They've just onboarded a new SEO client, a mid-market B2B SaaS business, and need an extra pair of hands to keep on top of the workload.
The work
- Spotting new content opportunities and writing briefs to improve rankings
- Optimising existing content for organic performance, including on-page work and internal linking
- Reviewing new pages briefed by the client to make sure they follow SEO best practice
- Making sure all content is aligned to GEO (generative engine optimisation) as well as traditional SEO
The team
You'd be working directly with the agency's founder, the content strategist and the technical SEO strategist, plus the client themselves. There's a weekly call the whole team attends, so you'll be properly looped in rather than working in isolation.
The arrangement
- Rate: £20 to £25 per hour, depending on experience
- Location: UK-based, fully remote (no need to be London based)
- Term: 6 months to start, with the possibility of a longer-term arrangement if things go well, resource dependent on the client continuing
- Start: Immediate
What suits this role
- Someone with a solid grasp of on-page SEO who understands how to lift rankings through a mix of content briefs, existing content optimisation and internal linking.
- Experience with mid-market B2B SaaS content is a real plus.
- This is a hands-on role, so it suits someone who's used to actually doing the SEO work day to day, not just directing it.
