The Opportunity
An opportunity for a commercially minded Social Media Partner to lead and evolve the company’s LinkedIn presence across both corporate brands and senior leadership profiles.
This role sits at the intersection of social strategy, executive positioning, thought leadership, content marketing, and business development. You will shape how the business shows up on LinkedIn, driving visibility, credibility, engagement, and pipeline impact through high-quality, insight-led content and strategic audience engagement.
The successful candidate will bring strong judgement, a clear point of view on how to stand out within a sophisticated B2B environment, and the ability to elevate leadership presence whilst maintaining the credibility expected of a senior consulting firm.
This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and executional excellence. You will work closely with the marketing team to continuously improve performance through testing, experimentation, and optimisation, whilst proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen brand positioning and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
LinkedIn Strategy & Positioning
- Define and continuously refine the company’s LinkedIn strategy
- Identify opportunities to strengthen positioning and differentiate brand voice
- Ensure alignment across:
- Corporate content
- Leadership presence
- Campaign activity
- Develop audience growth and engagement strategies focused on senior stakeholders and target accounts
Content & Social Execution
- Lead day-to-day management of the company’s LinkedIn presence, including planning, creation, publishing, and optimisation
- Support LinkedIn activity for the regional business with a lighter-touch, regionally tailored approach
- Write high-quality, insight-led social copy including:
- Thought leadership content
- Industry commentary
- Narrative-led posts
- Executive social content
- Translate reports, videos, and internal expertise into compelling LinkedIn content
- Develop LinkedIn-native content formats including:
- Carousels
- POV-led posts
- Video concepts
- Coordinate additional design support where required
- Maintain consistency in tone, cadence, and overall content quality
- Continuously improve content effectiveness through testing and performance analysis
- Support LinkedIn Live activity and event promotion
Executive & Leadership Presence
- Lead the development of senior leadership LinkedIn presence
- Build highly visible and credible executive profiles within the CRE and FM sectors
- Develop consistent content approaches that reflect leadership expertise and point of view
- Identify opportunities for leadership engagement within relevant industry conversations
- Proactively manage commenting and interaction to strengthen visibility amongst key audiences and stakeholders
- Build relationships and engagement with target accounts, industry voices, and senior decision-makers
Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership
- Monitor industry news, trends, and conversations across CRE and FM
- Identify opportunities for the business and leadership team to contribute to relevant discussions
- Develop timely, insight-led responses to industry developments
- Ensure consistent visibility within conversations that matter to target audiences and customers
Audience Growth & Engagement
- Define strategies to grow and engage target audiences
- Drive meaningful engagement with senior stakeholders and key accounts
- Support relationship-building activity through strategic LinkedIn engagement
Demand Generation & Performance
Support LinkedIn performance across:
- Content downloads
- Event registrations and attendance
- Website traffic
- Marketing-qualified leads (MQLs)
- Track content and engagement performance
- Identify trends, insights, and optimisation opportunities
- Continuously refine strategy based on data and audience behaviour
Paid LinkedIn Strategy
- Define and manage LinkedIn paid strategy
- Align organic and paid messaging
- Support targeting, optimisation, and campaign performance improvement
LinkedIn as a Business Development Tool
- Support the use of LinkedIn as a business development and relationship-building channel
- Identify opportunities to engage priority accounts and stakeholders
- Utilise tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to support targeting and outreach
- Work closely with the marketing team to strengthen visibility within key accounts
Requirements
- Proven experience managing LinkedIn strategy and thought leadership within a B2B environment
- Strong copywriting and content development skills
- Experience building executive and leadership social presence
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn engagement, audience growth, and content performance
- Commercial mindset with an understanding of pipeline contribution and lead generation
- Experience within professional services, consulting, CRE, FM, technology, or transformation-focused businesses is highly advantageous
- Confident balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Strong analytical and performance-driven mindset
- Experience managing LinkedIn paid campaigns and audience targeting
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and account-based engagement strategies preferred
