Marketplace Lead – Amazon

Hybrid – 2 days/week in Central London

This role leads the Amazon performance of a multi-brand eCommerce business competing in the same league.


With £100M+ in annual revenue and operations across 15+ countries, this is one of Europe’s top Amazon sellers—owning multiple brands across home appliances, personal care, and lifestyle. The portfolio includes bestsellers in their categories, generating thousands of reviews and consistent top-rank visibility.


This Marketplace Lead post offers full ownership of Amazon channel strategy, execution, and results.


The Role

A senior, commercially focused opportunity to take charge of Amazon strategy for a high-performing D2C brand group. Full P&L ownership, high-performing SKUs, and the freedom to lead growth across UK, EU, and US marketplaces.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning P&L for a large portfolio of Amazon products
  • Managing strategy and trading across Amazon UK, EU, and US
  • Leading all PPC efforts – Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display
  • Launching new products into highly competitive niches
  • Working closely with supply, design, content, and CS teams
  • Defining pricing, promotional, and event strategy (Prime Day, Black Friday, etc.)
  • Improving content, listing performance, and review generation
  • Supporting additional marketplace growth (eBay, new platforms)
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members


What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on Amazon experience (UK/EU/US), ideally within a brand-led business
  • Strong commercial skills – confident handling targets, margin, and forecasting
  • Proven track record of leading profitable PPC campaigns
  • Data-driven mindset and advanced Excel skills
  • Detail-focused content optimisation and marketplace hygiene
  • Capable of prioritising, influencing, and collaborating cross-functionally
  • Proactive, organised, and confident leading from the front
