Role Overview


We are hiring a commercially driven Marketplace Manager to lead Amazon channel performance across the UK, Europe, and Middle East. The role requires full P&L ownership, data-driven decision making, and strategic execution across a large, fast-moving product portfolio.


This is a senior-level individual contributor position offering direct exposure to C-level stakeholders and the opportunity to influence future product and commercial direction. You’ll work closely with teams across supply chain, brand, creative, and product development to drive revenue, margin, and brand visibility on Amazon.



Key Responsibilities


Commercial Ownership

  • Lead trading strategy and execution for Amazon channel
  • Manage a large-scale product portfolio and own commercial outcomes
  • Set pricing, run promotions, and support strategic planning with CRO
  • Lead product launches and seasonal campaigns (e.g. Prime Day, Black Friday)


Advertising & Performance Marketing

  • Plan and optimise PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display)
  • Monitor ACoS/TACoS performance and adjust based on trends and outcomes
  • Use keyword and category tools to improve organic and paid ranking


Channel Operations

  • Coordinate with supply chain to ensure stock availability
  • Manage forecasting, replenishment, and sell-through optimisation
  • Maintain account health and stay aligned with Amazon policies


Analytics & Reporting

  • Regularly report on performance — revenue, margin, CTR, conversion
  • Identify risks and opportunities through category and competitor insights
  • Present findings and proposals to senior leadership


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with creative and content teams to enhance listings and brand presence
  • Partner with product and development teams on roadmap and launches
  • Liaise with international colleagues to align strategy across markets


Leadership & Mentoring

  • Mentor junior marketplace team members and support their development
  • Contribute to team planning, process improvements and knowledge sharing



Candidate Profile


Required:

  • 5+ years of direct Amazon experience
  • Commercial ownership of a portfolio and track record of P&L delivery
  • Proven success managing and scaling PPC campaigns
  • Strong Excel/data skills and a clear analytical approach
  • Experience working cross-functionally in high-growth environments
  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and reporting
  • Independent, organised, and commercially minded


Desirable:

  • Experience launching into international Amazon markets (e.g. UAE, EU)
  • Familiarity with other marketplaces (eBay, Walmart)
  • Experience working in multi-category or consumer brands environments
  • Knowledge of broader DTC or ecommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify)
