About the Team
As Product Designer, you will be part of the Product Team, working closely in cross-functional teams to create new and enhanced user experiences for bank users, advertisers and/or publishing partners. The team works closely with banking and advertising partners to align business goals, helping banks to increase user engagement through the product and helping advertisers to increase measurable sales.
The platform connects financial institutions and consumer brands through purchase intelligence and card-linked technology, enabling targeted offer campaigns that are approved by banking partners and delivered directly within digital banking environments. The product design team has a huge and direct impact on all of these products and the experience of every user (internal and external). You will have the opportunity to work with a company that has long-standing relationships with major global brands and leading financial institutions.
About the Position
The company is seeking a Product Designer to join the team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Design. We are targeting ~10hrs/week for this contract through the end of August 2026, with the ability to extend the contract as needed.
You will work on product designs for new and enhanced user experiences across the platform. Projects can include B2B management tools, data-aggregating dashboards with complex inputs and comparisons, or B2C shopping and reward interfaces that create a fun, easy experience for users. We are looking for someone who’s excited to delight users by simplifying complex flows into streamlined and rewarding experiences.
Note: This role will begin with an emphasis on creating prototype variants.
You will:
- Design user-friendly experiences that solve complex problems and at times, surprise and delight the user, via wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Iterate on mocks, prototypes and user journeys to pitch concept work, understanding realistic constraints and versioning
- Utilize user data, and translate insights into actionable design decisions
- Collaborate closely with design manager, product managers and engineers to define and ship features
- Be the voice of users, balancing their needs with business objectives and client/partner goals
- Maintain and contribute to design systems and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability
You have:
- Strong end-to-end product design skills (user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design)
- Proficiency with industry tools including Figma, Slack, Jira and GSuite
- Ability to quickly understand complex product requirements and translate them into intuitive user experiences
- Solid grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards
- Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, stakeholders)
- Clear communication and presentation skills to explain design decisions and gather feedback efficiently, seeking data to prove out decisions
- Adaptability and speed—ability to ramp up quickly, iterate fast, and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
- Special emphasis on prototyping skills in Figma, crafting pitch decks to storytell product enhancements
- Some marketing design and Illustration skills preferred
