Responsibilities

Within ADSO (EMEA AI Data Service and Operations), this role supports data annotation and search operations across TikTok’s international products, helping maintain platform quality and safety.

 

To be transparent, this role involves reviewing user-generated content (images, video, and text). This may include exposure to sensitive or harmful content such as bullying, hate speech, violence, or other disturbing material.

 

  • Perform daily operational tasks including quality inspection, guideline and process optimisation, queue assignment, and escalation handling
  • Work closely with stakeholders to stay updated on guideline developments and provide feedback on execution
  • Conduct audits within internal systems and provide error analysis and feedback to stakeholders (R&D and Product Managers)
  • Monitor evaluator quality scores and conduct root cause analysis with management teams
  • Track project data, record outputs and quality metrics, and prepare reports for stakeholders
  • Validate data and reports shared with stakeholders and partners
  • Localise guidelines, design training schedules, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Deliver training on processes, products, and guidelines to new joiners
  • Support product knowledge testing, analyse results, and drive improvements across the team
  • Work with sensitive content when required (not frequent but expected as part of the role)
  • Support additional tasks as required

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in one of the following languages: German, French, Arabic, or Italian, alongside fluent English (working language)
  • Experience working with search engines, social media platforms, or related environments
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with flexibility in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management or operations
  • Familiarity with user behaviour and internet usage patterns

  • Complete regular assessments relating to search quality in accordance with evaluation standard documents
  • Use a side-by-side method to complete daily strategy assessments of search quality
  • Assess user search intent through queries and tools, and classify requirements accordingly
  • Review and categorise poor search cases, rating the quality of results
  • Provide ideal search results and feedback suggestions to support policy improvement
  • While primarily focused on a core area, support additional projects where required, using evaluation methods flexibly
  • Work with sensitive content, including child exploitation, religious and political perspectives, violence, and adult/sexual content
  • Support any other duties as required

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Fluency in one of the following languages: Arabic, German, French, Italian, or Spanish, alongside fluent English (working language)
  • Knowledge of search engines and familiarity with social media platforms, particularly TikTok
  • Strong understanding of local culture and internet usage habits
  • Strong learning ability and ability to understand new concepts quickly

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with common office software
  • Previous experience in search evaluation is preferred
  • Overseas working or training experience is a plus
