TikTok Shop, EMEA Moderation Quality Assurance Specialist

Governance and Experience, Moderation Quality

TikTok Shop is scaling across EMEA, and the Governance and Experience team sits right at the centre of keeping the marketplace safe, trusted, and consistent for buyers, sellers, and creators. This role is for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, spotting patterns early, and turning QA findings into action that improves quality metrics.

You’ll join a high pace team where priorities move quickly and standards are high. If you like ownership, stakeholder contact, and work that has a clear impact, this one’s worth a look. Plus, TikTok is a genuinely recognisable name to add to your experience, and this role gives you a solid story around quality, governance, and measurable outcomes at scale.

What you’ll be doing

  • Audit and assess moderation decisions across multiple content categories, including sellers, products, content and Intellectual Property Rights considerations
  • Review the quality of decisions made by BPO teams and automated moderation, flagging gaps and inconsistencies
  • Identify risk trends and recurring issues through structured data analysis
  • Build and improve QA processes, quality standards, and inspection routines to raise consistency across EMEA markets
  • Run root cause analysis on critical issues, then create practical action plans and track results
  • Define, monitor, and improve QA metrics and KPIs, focusing on measurable movement
  • Produce clear QA reporting and insights for managers and senior stakeholders
  • Partner closely with cross functional teams, including policy and local operations, to strengthen policy and execution
  • Lead calibration sessions and create learning materials so teams apply standards consistently

What they’re looking for

  • At least 3 years of hands on experience in e-commerce safety, trust and safety, content moderation, or moderation QA
  • Strong QA mindset with evidence of improving outcomes, not just reporting on them
  • Confident stakeholder communicator, comfortable explaining findings clearly and directly
  • Solid analytical skills and the ability to turn large datasets and policy detail into practical recommendations
  • Strong Excel capability, including pivot tables, and confidence working to KPIs
  • Basic SQL knowledge, or exposure to data visualisation tools, is a plus
  • Experience working with BPO teams is helpful
  • English fluency is essential, an additional European language is a bonus

Why this role stands out

  • You’re not just checking quality, you’re shaping how quality improves across EMEA
  • High visibility work with stakeholders who care about accuracy, consistency, and real metrics
  • A chance to build structure in a fast moving environment, and be valued for it
  • Strong CV value: TikTok plus meaningful governance and QA impact you can talk about in future interviews
