Offline Planning Manager – Media Planning & Buying

We're working with an established media agency in the West Midlands, part of Europe’s largest independent media group. They’re looking for an Offline Planning Manager to join their growing team – ideal for an experienced Planning Manager or someone with 2–3 years of experience in marketing or media, either agency-side or client-side, who’s ready for that next step.

About the Role

You’ll manage day-to-day media planning and buying activity across a mix of offline channels, including:

  • Out-of-Home (OOH)
  • TV and Video on Demand (VOD)
  • Print
  • Audio
  • Experiential campaigns

You’ll be the key contact for several clients, supported by a collaborative team across strategy, planning, and campaign delivery. The environment suits someone confident juggling multiple accounts and deadlines, while thinking proactively and commercially about client needs.

This is a great move for someone who’s been the main agency or campaign contact within a marketing team and wants more ownership, exposure, and learning.

They’re open to candidates from outside media agencies – particularly if you’ve managed agency relationships, led offline campaigns, or worked across a broad marketing mix.

What They’re Looking For

  • Comfortable working across multiple clients and campaigns at once
  • Strong understanding of offline media channels
  • Good working knowledge of digital media (no need for hands-on activation)
  • Strong communicator and relationship-builder
  • Able to prioritise and stay on top of fast-paced delivery
  • Understanding digital is a plus.

Benefits & Culture

  • Competitive salary and pension (up to 5% employer match)
  • Private medical insurance, life assurance, and income protection
  • Holiday + wellbeing days + birthday day off
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • EV salary sacrifice scheme (after 2 years)
  • Charity and volunteering leave
  • Annual parties and regular team events
  • Training and development – including IPA qualifications
  • Clear progression path
  • Involvement in internal culture groups (DE&I, social, wellbeing, etc.)

The agency recently became part of a major European network, opening up new opportunities for growth and progression – including potential to work on exciting new projects and market launches.
