The role
A multi-award-winning B2B communications consultancy is looking for an Account Manager to join its team. This is a replacement hire for someone who can take ownership of a varied client portfolio across tech, sustainability, aviation and manufacturing, and hit the ground running from day one.

What you'll be doing
Day-to-day account management
- Developing strong client relationships and taking ownership of account success
- Creating, managing and implementing strategic and tactical activities across client accounts
- Monitoring media to keep on top of client issues and identify commentary opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with sector journalists and influencers
- Producing high-quality written content and distributing it via appropriate channels
- Briefing and managing third party suppliers and partners
- Updating clients and team on performance via status reports, weekly catch-ups and review meetings
- Supporting junior staff and contributing to their development
- Maintaining CPD accreditation with CIPR
New business
- Upselling to existing clients and identifying new business opportunities
- Co-developing and delivering new business pitches and credentials presentations
- Contributing ideas for current and new client campaigns
What they're looking for
- 18 to 24 months at Senior Account Executive level or above in a B2B communications consultancy (essential)
- Experience across traditional and digital media campaigns
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A natural writer who can adapt style and tone across sectors
- Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
- Team player who's comfortable collaborating across two office locations
- Solid presentation skills and comfortable supporting junior team members
- Aviation, tech or telecoms experience is an advantage, though not a dealbreaker
