Media Planning Manager – Independent Media Agency

Bath / Hybrid | £40–45k


We’re working with a well-regarded independent media agency known for their thoughtful, channel-agnostic approach to planning. They’ve built strong partnerships across retail, tourism, and public sector brands — with campaigns that balance strategy, data and media craft.


The team is hiring a Planning Manager to take the lead on day-to-day campaign planning across offline and digital channels. You’ll work closely with senior planners and client leads to shape effective media plans and keep campaigns running smoothly.


The role

  • Build and develop cross-channel media plans in response to client briefs
  • Take ownership of campaign planning, implementation, and reporting
  • Work with media owners to identify new opportunities and secure the best value
  • Contribute to post-campaign analysis and client presentations
  • Mentor junior execs and help drive best practice across the team


About you

  • 3–6 years’ experience in a media planning role, agency side
  • Confident working across channels (TV, Print, OOH, Digital, Social)
  • Comfortable using tools like TGI, MediaOcean, YouGov, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to explain media thinking clearly to clients
  • Calm under pressure and proactive in managing workload
  • Based within a commutable distance to Bath (2–3 days a week in office)
