TikTok Shop UK – Seller Incubation Account Strategist

 

We are looking for an Account Strategist to drive targeted seller incubation and portfolio growth. This role focuses on scaling mid-potential sellers from $4.5K/month to $30K+/month GMV through account management, tailored sellers education, community engagement, and strategic program execution. You will play a critical role in identifying growth levers, managing seller relationships, and owning key incubation initiatives from end to end

 

Team Description

The UK MAI (Merchant Acquisition and Incubation) team operates within the SMB pillar of TikTok E-commerce, spearheading the acquisition and onboarding journey for new sellers.

The team is responsible for UK TikTok Shop merchants and merchandise growth, aiming to onboard, incubate, educate merchants from scratch and drive their business success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of incubating high-potential SMB sellers by identifying their growth paths and supporting them in achieving key business milestones
  • Deliver tailored solutions through a combination of 1:1 high-touch seller diagnosis (to uncover pain points and growth opportunities) and scalable horizontal enablement programs
  • Manage communication channels (e.g., Lark groups, instant messaging) to drive mass account management activities such as forecasting, troubleshooting, seller education, and program rollouts
  • Lead and execute one incubation program end-to-end—covering proposal development, planning, execution, performance tracking, and impact evaluation with support from strategy i.e. online matchmaking events, live webinars etc.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with category, operations, and product teams to unlock growth levers and ensure seller success based on their industry growth path
  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve seller performance and program effectiveness

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above, 3+ years experience in account management, business development, or program management, preferably in e-commerce or a fast-paced environment
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and analytical skills—able to translate data into actionable growth plans
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; capable of diagnosing seller needs and driving impactful conversations
  • Self-starter with a strong ownership mentality and a proven track record of managing projects end-to-end
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required
