Advertising Sales Manager – Healthcare Media

Location: Central London (office-based, with some client travel)

Salary: £50,000 + bonus (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

About the Company

We’re partnering with a well-established media and communications group that produces some of the UK’s most recognised healthcare and pharmacy publications.

They’re known for delivering credible journalism, strong industry relationships, and creative events that connect healthcare professionals and brands across multiple platforms. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and built around long-term people — it’s a place where ideas are encouraged, and results are recognised.

The Opportunity

They’re hiring an Advertising Sales Manager to lead revenue growth for one of their flagship B2B titles in the pharmacy sector.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll have full ownership of commercial performance — from hitting sales targets to introducing new strategies and building long-standing client partnerships.

You’ll be supported by a wider sales and editorial team that works closely to ensure campaigns deliver value, impact, and visibility across both print and digital platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive advertising revenue across print, digital, and sponsorship channels.
  • Build strong client relationships and identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Develop and execute creative promotional campaigns.
  • Sell sponsorship packages for high-profile annual industry awards.
  • Work collaboratively with editorial and marketing to shape the brand’s direction.
  • Manage budgets, oversee production deadlines, and ensure campaigns run smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in advertising, publishing, or media sales.
  • Proven record of meeting targets and growing revenue.
  • Confident building and managing client relationships.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong grasp of market trends.
  • Organised, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Experience in healthcare, publishing, or B2B media is a plus but not essential.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Join one of the UK’s leading voices in healthcare communications.
  • Enjoy autonomy to shape commercial direction and drive growth.
  • Work in a sociable, creative environment where people stay long-term.
  • Mix of print, digital, and events — offering varied, high-value sales opportunities.
  • Based in a Central London HQ with a strong, visible leadership team.
