Job Title: Audio Visual Sales Manager

Location: Dallas - Fort Worth, Texas

Department: Audio Visual Sales & Events

Compensation: $65K - $95K Total Compensation



Job Summary

Our Property is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Audio Visual (AV) Sales Manager to lead and grow our AV services within the hotel. This role is responsible for driving revenue by selling AV solutions for meetings, conferences, and events hosted at the property. The ideal candidate will have strong background in AV technology, exceptional sales skills, and passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.



Key Responsibilities


Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and pursue new AV sales opportunities with corporate clients, event planners, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their AV needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the hotel’s sales and events teams to cross-sell AV services during event planning.
  • Prepare and present AV proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.


Event Support & Coordination

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of AV services for events.
  • Conduct site visits and consultations with clients to assess AV requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Oversee the setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment for events, ensuring high-quality service delivery.


Team Leadership & Training

  • Lead and mentor the AV team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Provide training to hotel staff on AV capabilities to enhance cross-departmental collaboration.


Financial Management

  • Achieve and exceed AV sales revenue targets and profitability goals.
  • Monitor and manage AV inventory, ensuring proper maintenance and cost control.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.


Qualifications


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in AV sales, event technology, or similar roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of AV equipment, systems, and solutions (e.g., sound systems, projectors, lighting, video conferencing).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
