Nurse Manager – Operating Room – Los Angeles, CA
 
Key Responsibilities
    - Provide 24/7 clinical and operational leadership of a 12-suite OR serving a variety of high-volume specialties
- Manage daily operations with oversight of ~60 direct reports, including OR RNs, surgical techs, and support staff
- Lead staffing, scheduling, education, compliance, and performance initiatives across perioperative services
- Ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and clinical quality for ~50 daily OR cases
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, sterile processing, and other interdisciplinary leaders
- Drive continuous improvement in workflow, throughput, and employee engagement
- Maintain full survey readiness and regulatory compliance (TJC, CMS, CDPH, etc.)
 
Qualifications
    - 
Current CA Registered Nurse (RN) license (required by start date)
- 
American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
- 
BSN or MSN (required)
- 
Minimum 5 years of OR RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
- 
Minimum 4 years of RN leadership experience, including at least 2–3 years in a Nurse Manager or Supervisor role
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing operations, staffing models, and regulatory standards
- Prior experience with unionized workforce preferred
- CNOR certification a plus
 
Compensation & Benefits
    - 
Base Salary: $197,000 – $228,000/year
- 
Bonus: Eligible for up to 15% annual performance bonus
