Surgical Services Manager – Inpatient Operating Room – Portland, OR Suburb
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time leadership role overseeing inpatient Operating Room services
- Monday–Friday schedule; day shift
- Responsible for daily operations, staffing, budget management, and quality improvement within the surgical services division
- Collaborative environment with support from administrative and clinical leadership
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily OR operations, ensuring delivery of safe and effective patient care
- Manage staffing, hiring, evaluations, and performance improvement for RN team
- Drive compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Monitor and manage departmental budget, labor, and supply use
- Support staff education and clinical competency
- Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration and provider relationships
- Participate in organization-wide performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications – Required:
- 5+ years of RN clinical experience, including at least 2 years in perioperative services
- 2+ years in a healthcare leadership role
- BSN or related healthcare bachelor’s degree (or actively enrolled with planned completion)
- BLS certification (within 1 month of hire)
Qualifications – Preferred:
- 2+ years of Critical Care experience (MPU, SPA, or PACU)
- 4+ years of prior management experience in acute care
- Specialty certification (e.g., CNOR, CPAN)
- Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare-related field
