Physical Medicine & Rehab (PM&R) - Medical Director – Post-Acute Care - Tucson, AZ 

Opportunity Overview
Seeking a PM&R physician for a Medical Director role in post-acute care across inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities in the Tucson area. This is a flexible, full-time opportunity with strong clinical and administrative support, leadership development, and uncapped earning potential.

Schedule Options

• Full-time: 4–5 days/week 
• 7 on / 7 off
• Day call weekdays and weekends
• After-hours/night backup call only
• No primary night call

Clinical Responsibilities

• Post-acute rounding
• Comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
• Ongoing care coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• Patient and family education
• Accurate, timely documentation
• Participate in quality initiatives and facility collaboration
• Access to formal leadership training and mentorship

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated annual compensation: $232,000–$279,000 (uncapped productivity)

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Arizona license (or ability to obtain)
• BC/BE PM&R preferred
• Experience in post-acute, acute care, ED, or clinic settings a plus (new grads considered)
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
