What Sets This Practice Apart

This practice operates on a minimum 45-minute, one-on-one appointment model — a meaningful departure from the industry standard of 20-minute visits. This allows therapists to truly connect with patients, deliver individualized treatment, and achieve better outcomes. In the Alameda clinic, you will work in a slower-paced, supportive environment with direct access to and mentorship from the practice owner, who is a licensed PT. At the moment, you will be the only PT int he clinic, which means autonomy and the ability to have some control over your days.

The Opportunity

This is a part-time to full-time position (32 hours/4 days preferred) available as either W-2 with full benefits or 1099 — whichever works best for you. Ideal for a therapist who values quality over quantity, meaningful patient relationships, and a collaborative, mission-driven work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one physical therapy evaluations and treatments
  • Develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's goals
  • Utilize specialized techniques including shockwave therapy and Pilates-based rehabilitation
  • Educate and empower patients to take an active role in their recovery
  • Collaborate with the practice owner and team to maintain high clinical standards
  • Participate in community outreach events as desired


Ideal Candidate

  • Active California PT license (or eligibility)
  • PT degree from an accredited program
  • Experience or strong interest in orthopedics chronic pain, or complex conditions
  • Background or training in ORthopedics, Pilates, yoga, sports medicine, or manual therapy a plus
  • Passion for patient-centered, individualized care
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative, community-focused environment
