Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join a progressive, state-of-the-art outpatient sports practice serving Ventura County. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and treatment interventions in a modern facility designed to maximize patient outcomes across orthopedic rehabilitation and sports performance enhancement.

This growing multi-location practice serves Ventura County with three clinic locations, including a newly constructed flagship facility featuring over 3,500 square feet of advanced rehabilitation and performance training space. The practice combines traditional outpatient orthopedic care with specialized sports enhancement programming, offering a unique blend of rehabilitation and performance optimization services.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for orthopedic and sports-related conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and progressive exercise programming
- Utilize advanced equipment and technology to enhance treatment outcomes
- Progress patients from rehabilitation through return-to-sport continuum
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
Performance & Training:
- Design and implement sports enhancement programs for athletes
- Utilize field turf and specialized equipment for sport-specific training
- Integrate core stability, explosive power, and neuro-dynamic training techniques
- Assess movement patterns and develop performance optimization strategies
- Educate athletes on professional-level training methods and injury prevention
Professional Development:
- Stay current with evidence-based practice in sports medicine and performance training
- Participate in continuing education opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:
Required:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Current Physical Therapy license in California
- Strong foundation in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Passion for helping patients and athletes achieve optimal outcomes
Preferred:
- Experience with sports rehabilitation and athletic populations
- Knowledge of performance training, explosive power development, and sport-specific conditioning
- Interest in advanced treatment technologies and evidence-based interventions
- Manual therapy skills and therapeutic exercise expertise
- Background in or passion for athletics and sports performance
- Board certification or specialty training in orthopedics or sports physical therapy
