Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join a patient-centered outpatient practice that goes beyond traditional episodic care. This position offers the opportunity to practice in-depth, individualized physical therapy focused on identifying and addressing root causes rather than just symptom management. Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Assessment & Treatment

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify root causes of dysfunction
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans focused on long-term outcomes
  • Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training
  • Address complex pain conditions and movement disorders with advanced clinical reasoning
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment approaches based on patient response
  • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation

Patient Education & Collaboration

  • Educate patients on their conditions, treatment rationale, and self-management strategies
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships based on trust and open communication
  • Collaborate with patients to establish meaningful, achievable goals
  • Provide honest guidance and straightforward recommendations
  • Support patients in reclaiming confidence and capacity for valued activities

Professional Practice

  • Stay current with evidence-based practice and advanced treatment approaches

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Current Physical Therapy license in California
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Passion for addressing complex conditions and identifying root causes
  • Commitment to individualized, patient-centered care

Preferred:

  • Experience with chronic pain, movement disorders, or complex orthopedic conditions
  • Manual therapy skills and advanced therapeutic exercise training
