Our Talent team is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner - Construction to champion our construction recruiting practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the market, building trusted relationships, and becoming a recognized resource for top construction talent.
What You’ll Do
Own the Full Recruiting Lifecycle
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and develop targeted search strategies
- Post and manage job advertisements across relevant platforms
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle
- Screen, interview, and guide candidates through a high-touch, consultative recruiting process
Stay Connected to the Market
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and industry relationships
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of construction professionals (Project Managers, Engineers, Operations leaders, and more)
- Map target companies and identify top talent within the construction space
Serve as a Construction Talent Expert
- Stay informed on market trends, compensation insights, and competitor activity
- Provide real-time feedback and guidance on talent availability and hiring strategy
Build Relationships That Matter
- Develop meaningful connections with industry professionals, associations, and trade groups
- Attend industry events and maintain visibility within the construction community
- Position yourself, and Lutz, as a trusted partner, not just a recruiter
Collaborate and Influence
- Work closely with client-facing partners to align on priorities, candidate profiles, and search strategy
- Share market insights, adjust approaches as needed, and help drive successful placements
What You Bring
Required Qualifications

3+ years of recruiting experience in construction, engineering, or skilled trades OR
- Direct construction industry experience (Project Management, Engineering, Operations, etc.) with a strong understanding of talent needs
- Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates
- Strong knowledge of construction roles, project structures, and industry dynamics
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A self-motivated, performance-driven mindset
