Part-Time Senior Accountant + Growing Organization + Remote

Our client, a growing organization is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to provide hands-on support and financial oversight on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, cleaning up accounting records, and serving as a trusted advisor while maintaining a flexible schedule.
This role will work closely with leadership to strengthen accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and help prepare the organization for future audits.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support audit readiness and assist with audit preparation
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and workflows
- Provide advisory support to leadership on accounting matters
- Manage asset depreciation and related accounting activities
- Assist with QuickBooks Online maintenance, cleanup, and optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen internal processes
What They're Looking For
- Strong accounting experience with the ability to work independently
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of reconciliations, month-end processes, and audit preparation
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement efficiencies
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote environment
