Sports Administrative Assistant + Vibrant Culture + Omaha

About the Company

What started as a high-performance brand has evolved into a nationally recognized sports company—with products sold in major retailers and trusted by athletes coast to coast. Headquartered in Omaha, this tight-knit, high-energy team thrives on creativity, collaboration, and momentum.

They’re now looking for an Administrative Assistant (1099 Contractor) who can keep operations running smoothly, support leadership, and help power the next phase of growth.

The Role

As the right hand to the Owner/President, you’ll be the organizational engine that keeps the business firing on all cylinders. From managing calendars and communications to coordinating trade shows and vendor relationships, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping the brand’s fast-moving operations seamless. This is a 1099 contract position – ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to contribute in a hands-on way to a fast-growing brand.

If you’re the kind of person who anticipates needs before they’re asked, enjoys variety in your day, and thrives in a dynamic, team-driven environment — this is your chance to make an impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage scheduling, inboxes, and day-to-day communications for the Owner/President
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
  • Coordinate logistics for trade shows, events, and brand activations nationwide
  • Anticipate needs and stay two steps ahead to ensure smooth execution
  • Handle a wide range of administrative tasks with precision and flexibility
  • Keep projects and priorities organized in a fast-changing environment

What They’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of administrative or executive assistant experience
  • Outstanding organization, follow-through, and multitasking skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship management abilities
  • Tech-savvy and fluent in email, calendar tools, and general office software
  • Trustworthy, proactive, and adaptable in a high-energy setting
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (Nov–Apr: ~1 week/month; Memorial Day–Labor Day: ~2 weeks/month)

Schedule & Travel:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM
  • Travel as needed to support events, client meetings, and operational initiatives

Why You’ll Love It There:

  • Be part of a fast-growing national sports brand making waves across the country
  • Get involved in live events, trade shows, and brand activations nationwide
  • Join a small team where your ideas matter and your work has impact
  • Enjoy exclusive product discounts designed for athletes, by athletes
  • Thrive in a dynamic, energetic, and fun environment where no two days are alike
